How do I scan on an Epson 7720?



The Epson 7720 printer driver inkjet printer is a good all-in-one printer. It includes several capabilities, including three separate input trays to suit various types of paper media, duplex printing and scanning of documents up to 11" x 17" in size, and a set of networking options. It's well-made, with a durable but efficient design and a great touchscreen. When printing documents, however, it has poor color fidelity and prints slowly. Furthermore, while printing isn't too expensive, the regular black cartridge's page yield is relatively poor. However, if you print frequently, there are high-capacity cartridges available.


You can scan an image to various destinations using your product's control panel.

Your product will automatically select the suitable default scan settings, but you can view or change them as necessary. Below are some steps to solve how I scan on an Epson 7720.


First, you have to make sure that you have installed the product software and connected the product to your computer or network.


Note: first, you have to restart your computer after installing the product software to enable scanning from the control panel. Also, you have to make sure the Event Manager Program is not being blocked by your firewall or security software.


  1. First, you have to Place your original on the product for scanning.

Note: make sure to scan a double-sided or multi-page document, then place your originals in the ADF.

  2. Select Scan. 

  3. Then select one of the following Scan to options:

  4. Network Folder/FTP helps you save your scan file to a specified folder on a network.

And Email lets you send scanned files through a pre-configured email server.

  1. Finally, the computer saves your scan file to a computer.


Memory Device will save your scan file on a USB device and lets you select the file format, quality, and other settings. 


Cloud will send your scanned files to a destination that you have registered with Epson Connect.

Computer (WSD) will let you manage network scanning in Windows 10, Windows 8. x, Windows 7, or Windows Vista (English only). So To use this feature, you must first set up WSD (Web Services for Devices) on the computer and Epson 7720 printer driver.

After that, you can easily scan from the WF-7720 without going through a computer. The all-in-one printer will scan to a flash drive, email, cloud drive, network folder, or FTP. It can also save scanned images of Epson 7720 printer in various file formats, including Bitmap, JPEG, PNG, TIFF, Multi-TIFF, PDF, and Searchable PDF. 


However, how to run printer check on Epson 7720 printer cartridge prints nice images on 13" x 19" paper, but the ADF scanner isn't very good, and it costs a lot each page. If you need a lot of 13" x 19" paper, this is a fantastic option. If not, you can discover comparable printers that deliver the same quality output at a lesser cost per page.
